The Department of Medicine, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, is seeking a full-time Open Rank Scientist (open track). This position offers the opportunity to design your career as a Scientist and to develop interactive programs with existing research and to grow your research program. You will enjoy our collaborative environment, with frequent opportunities to learn from and with our colleagues through seminars, chalk-talk series, and our mentoring program.
Candidates for the position must hold a Ph.D., M.D., M.D. / PhD. or equivalent degree. Those who wish to be considered for Associate Professor Rank or above must have extensive research experience with evidence of extramural funding, a strong track record of publications in high impact journals, and mentoring.
