Position Summary
The Operational Excellence Specialist leads, facilitates, and supports cross functional teams to improve and redesign operational processes critical to safe, high quality, efficient, patient centered care by leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies. The Operational Excellence Specialist serves as a process management resource within the organization, assisting in the development of standards, tools and training for the organization throughout the continuum of care. The Operational Excellence Specialist reports to the Director, Operational Excellence and works closely with hospital leadership on key operational improvement initiatives.
Position Qualification
Bachelors Required
Masters Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Hospital Administration Required and a Master's in a related field preferred.
2 years in Healthcare/Medical - Healthcare - Other
Preferred: 2 years of process improvement experience applying six sigma process improvement methods and/or experience in a Hospital, Ambulatory Clinic or Healthcare.
Optional: Consulting Experience.
Years of Experience can be related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
