JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurocritical Care Unit at Clements University Hospital and Texas Health Dallas. The neurocritical care unit at Clements University Hospital is a 24 bed ICU. The unit at Texas Health Dallas is a 24 bed combined neurotrauma unit with 12 beds designated for neurocritical care. Both ICUs are staffed by APPs with 24 / 7 coverage including rotating night and weekend coverage. Procedural opportunities include intubation, central venous catheter insertion, arterial line insertion, and lumbar puncture.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
Education
- Master's degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program. Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization must be consistent with clinical practice area and patient population. OR
- Graduate of a Master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
