What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neurosurgeon Scientist position at UT Southwestern Medical Center?
The Department of Neurosurgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is currently recruiting a neurosurgeon-scientist specializing in adult spine care. We seek candidates who are eager to join a multi-disciplinary team of operative and non-operative spine physicians in the UTSW Spine Center. This position will be sited at our established practice UTSW Clements University Hospital and UTSW Frisco . The neurosurgeon will be required to have completed a spine fellowship. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Neurosurgery and eligible for a Texas Medical License. This position will report to both the Department Chair.
Candidates will be committed to patient care, resident, fellow, and medical student education, federally funded scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine. Our program is nationally recognized and rapidly expanding.
The neurosurgeon candidate will be required to have completed a spine fellowship. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Neurosurgery and eligible for a Texas Medical License.
