Overview:
Join the Utah County Sheriff's Office as a part-time Community Coordinator, where you'll provide high-level clerical and administrative support to various divisions, including Records, Civil Process, Emergency Services, and Alternative Probation (UCAP). This role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently while assisting with sensitive law enforcement documentation and public interaction.
Join the Utah County Sheriff's Office as a part-time Community Coordinator, where you'll provide high-level clerical and administrative support to various divisions, including Records, Civil Process, Emergency Services, and Alternative Probation (UCAP). This role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently while assisting with sensitive law enforcement documentation and public interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process background checks, subpoenas, GRAMA requests, and court-ordered actions
- Maintain detailed records related to investigations, enforcement, and civil documents
- Support Emergency Services and Wildland Fire teams with reporting, grant documentation, and purchasing
- Assist in tracking and processing arrest warrants, transports, extraditions, and protective orders
- Maintain accurate financial and statistical records
- Support the UCAP program with participant tracking, data reporting, and compliance monitoring
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of general clerical experience (2 years must relate to listed duties)
- Strong typing skills (40 WPM preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (Utah license required within 60 days)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Certifications (required or to be obtained):
- BCI (Bureau of Criminal Identification)
- Notary Public (within first 3 months, if assigned to Civil/UCAP)
- ORAS Certification (for UCAP assignment)
