HR Manager

Utah Disaster Kleenup is recruiting a dynamic Professional to provide Human Resources for our 5 locations. This is an in-office position at our conveniently located headquarters in Draper, UT .

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and helping resolve work-related problems.
• Benefits administration: conducts on-boarding, background checks, 90-day interviews, and exit interviews, ensuring employees understand their benefit coverages. Administers 401(k) and health plans. Responsible for employee verification, unemployment and disability claims.
• Processes payroll on a bi-weekly basis. This includes maintaining employee records, calculation of hours and administering all garnishments and withholdings.
• Manage employee documentation such as Employee Handbook and disciplinary communications.
• Plan and conduct new employee orientation
• Recruitment of new employees.
• Maintaining in-house training program and keeping track of all certification and scheduling of outside training.

Requirements:

• Three or more year’s proven experience implementing Human Resources programs and payroll processing.
• Conscientious, detail-oriented worker who is self-motivated.
• Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience with ADP platform preferred but able to train.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the company, including senior-level executives to front-line workers.
• Experience working with individuals across different geographies and cultures, as well as with cross-division efforts.
