What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restoration Project Manager position at Utah Disaster Kleenup (UDK)?
UDK is hiring an experienced Project Manager for mitigation and restoration work in its St. George, UT location.
The duty of this role includes, but is not limited to:
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Define project scope and goals for each project assigned.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and customers in a timely and clear fashion.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Recruit and manage sub-contractor and vendor relations for a long-term beneficial relationship of all parties.
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
- Participate in On Call rotation as assigned by Branch Manager.
All Estimating and Project Management employees are expected to sell, promote, and market to our clients. Including but not limited to:
- Show exceptional customer communication and service skills.
- Have an ability to sell and present contracts to the client and close deals.
- Have knowledge of the property/insurance industry and potential clients, customers, end users, etc.
- Demonstrate the ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
- Be persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.

Promote the company to new and existing customers through:
- Cold calls
- Office visits
- Lunches
- Golf tournaments
- Trade shows
- Community events, industry conferences, etc.
Compensation:
- Salary plus commission
- Salary ~ $55K and commensurate with experience
