About Us:
We are a fast-growing emergency moving and restoration support company, specializing in packout services for homes impacted by water and fire damage. When disaster strikes, we’re the first ones in—carefully packing, inventorying, cleaning, and storing personal belongings with urgency and care. We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Packout Manager to lead our field team and ensure every job runs smoothly, safely, and professionally.
Job Summary:
As the Packout Manager, you will be responsible for managing on-site packout operations, leading crews, coordinating logistics, and ensuring accurate inventory and documentation of clients’ personal property. This role requires a strong mix of leadership, organizational, and customer service skills, and the ability to handle high-stress, time-sensitive environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead packout teams on-site for water and fire damage jobs
• Oversee the packing, labeling, and transport of furniture and personal items
• Assess and document the condition of items, identifying salvageable vs. non-salvageable property
• Communicate with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and restoration partners
• Coordinate cleaning, storage, and return of items
• Train and mentor new crew members
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
• Maintain and inspect vehicles and equipment
Requirements:
• Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in physically demanding environments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Calm under pressure with a customer-first mindset
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
