About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising laboratory technicians at all UNHS sites, ensuring that they adhere to company procedures and protocols. This includes scheduling, hiring, discipline, timesheets, evaluations, and competencies. The Laboratory Supervisor will also be responsible for training new and current employees on procedures and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise laboratory technicians at all UNHS sites
- Ensure adherence to company procedures and protocols
- Train new and current employees on procedures and policies
- Maintain records for patients, quality controls, proficiency testing, and quality assurance
- Responsible for maintaining proper environmental controls and preventative maintenance of equipment
Requirements
- Associate's degree in medical technology, medical laboratory science or clinical laboratory science
- At least 4 years of laboratory experience in non-waived testing
- Managerial experience preferred
