Position Overview :
We are seeking a Lab Technician to support various internal operations and programs within the Materials Process Engineering group. This position will assist the Chemical Analysis Service Center manager with various daily tasks involving critical sample preparation, handling, and analysis. The applicant should be dependable, self-motivated and can work independently with little oversight in a research laboratory environment and manage various hands-on technical problems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Primary Duties :
Support chemical analysis service center operations and become proficient in running sensitive equipment and instrumentation including FTIR, GCMS, microscopy, microbalances, and titrimetric analysis
Read and interpret technical schematics, drawings, and diagrams as needed
