Duties:
- Assist veterinarians in performing medical procedures and surgeries
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
- Take and develop x-rays
- Prepare animals for surgery and monitor their post-operative recovery
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records
Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Veterinary Technology or related field
- Knowledge of animal physiology, veterinary terminology, and veterinary critical care
- Experience in animal care, including handling and restraint techniques
- Proficiency in pet grooming and basic dog training is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
