What are the responsibilities and job description for the Higher Education Manager position at Ute Mountain Ute Tribe?
Summary: Utilizing leadership, advocacy, and collaboration the Higher Education Director develops, implements, and maintains a comprehensive post-secondary education and career development center. Skilled in group leadership, the Director has the major responsibility for supervising the Learning Center, including Adult Education, WIOA, Higher Education, Vocational, and Distance-Education College programs, staff, and related grant compliance. The Director is also responsible for designing, acquiring, shaping and enforcing policies and procedures ensuring a quality program. The Director in the point person for Tribal engagement with higher learning institutions and works with appropriate Tribal departments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA Degree in education or related field with minimum of three (3) years of past working experience specific to Higher Education.
Background in post-secondary administration, instructional programing, and/or grant development.
Maintains standards for a clear background check.
Valid drivers license, and insurable by the Tribe
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Job Type: Full-time
