Job Description
Primary responsibilities will include teaching didactic and small group learning exercises primarily in the disciplines of microbiology, virology and cell biology. Teaching experience in, or willingness to expand into, the discipline of biochemistry is required. Students are first- and second-year dental, medical and graduate students, at UTHSC. Applicants should submit a letter with description of teaching philosophy and experience, curriculum vitae, and names of three references in a single Word or PDF document via (UTHSC’s hiring portal). Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

Teaching experience in healthcare professional and graduate level courses is preferred but not required. The candidate should be an enthusiastic educator with demonstrated ability to work productively, collegially, and effectively within a faculty-team environment. This position includes opportunities to conduct scholarly activities related to educational programs.
