Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services during the breakfast hours at our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests to ensure a pleasant dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Serve breakfast items to guests, including coffee, pastries, and hot dishes.
• Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, demonstrating excellent guest service skills.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables and replenishing food items as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment and cash register efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure it meets hotel standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding food preparation and guest preferences.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and work towards resolving any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices is beneficial.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
