We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our injection molding equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on injection molding machines, dryers, granulators, conveyors, ovens, cyclones, loaders, and other auxiliary equipment.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, including identifying and resolving oil leaks.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement strategies for enhancing machine performance and efficiency.
- Building Maintenance: Perform minor building maintenance tasks, such as A/C filter replacement, light bulb replacements, and basic system repairs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities using a computerized system.
- Proven Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience maintaining injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Technical Expertise: Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Communication & Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-Motivated: A self-starter who can work independently and efficiently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, climb, and crawl.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training or certifications in injection molding, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Apprenticeship program experience (civilian or military) is highly valued.
- 3-5 years of experience in maintaining mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting or programming is a plus.
