Construction Billing Analyst

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and revenue cycle management, with the ability to analyze data effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate billing processes and maintaining compliance with GAAP standards. The Billing Analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure timely and accurate billing, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Accumulate timesheets, approvals, and subcontractor bills to create an invoice
• Review invoices for accuracy and content
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets to track billing and associated revenue
• Verify data received from operations is consistent with company financial reporting standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing issues and improve billing processes.
• Maintain organized records of all billing transactions and communications.

Experience

• Proven experience in a billing analyst role or similar position within finance or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts, revenue cycle management, and public accounting practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial software applications.
• Familiarity with construction billing processes is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
