Utility Partners of America (UPA), a full-service utility contractor is seeking highly motivated and safety- conscious individuals to join its team as Utility Lighting Technician. This is a full time traveling position across North Carolina and South Carolina. This is a great opportunity to learn a trade / enhance your skills, and join a growing company with full benefits. Summary of Responsibilities:
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Able to walk, stand, bend, climb and kneel throughout the day
- Prior utility lighting maintenance or installation experience a plus, but not required
- Prior experience operating an aerial boom (bucket) truck (Required)
- Able to work outdoors and withstand regional seasonal weather including inclement weather
- Comfortable working from heights up to 40 feet. (aerial boom, ladder, climb)
- A urinalysis, background check, and motor vehicle report will be ran.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
