Position Summary
The Field Service Coordinator would support the Utility Trailer dealer/customer network and Field Service Regional Managers by gathering, documenting, analyzing, and presenting information regarding potential warranty claims. This position is at our corporate office located in the City of Industry, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate potential warranty complaints
- Negotiate warranty settlements with dealers, suppliers, and customers
- Administer warranty policies and procedures
- Process warranty claims
- Cross functional communication with other departments (Engineering, Drafting, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Aftermarket, etc.)
- Provide support to the dealer / customer network regarding warranty requests
- Develop methods to continuously improve customer-facing applications
- Communicate with Vendors, plants, dealers, and customers
- Create monthly reports regarding warranty activity
Qualifications
- Some college preferred
- Mechanical aptitude essential (commercial vehicle service shop or military training in the transportation / maintenance field.
- Customer service experience a
- Ability to handle heavy call volume
- Ability to multi-task several projects at a time while prioritizing those most important
- Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, HTML
- Strong People and Communication skills
- Strong collection, analysis, and reporting of factual information
- Self-Motivated / organized
- Maturity: Leadership skills, good judgment, even-tempered
- Prioritization and time management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential
- Investigative skills: Research and documentation in detail
- Trailer Maintenance skills: Mechanical knowledge
- Ability to think "outside the box"
- Military experience a plus
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Regularly exercises discretion and the ability to prioritize workload.

Compensation
Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000 annually
