Utopia Home Care, a family owned home health care agency with a 20 year history of providing quality care to patients and their families within Connecticut is hiring for an in house Recruiter.

We provide a range of services such as general medical, surgical and behavioral health that allow our patients to age in place, avoid hospitalization, and maintain quality of life in the comfort of their own home or assisted living facility.

Description:

Utopia healthcare recruiter sources, screens, and sets up interviews with our branch managers and supervisors in an effort to retain qualified healthcare professionals to meet the needs of our communities we serve.

As a Utopia recruiter you will be responsible for building a network of qualified candidates, evaluating skills in relation to the position requirements, and overseeing the completion of onboarding requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develops and executes recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality healthcare professionals who meet the offices immediate and projected needs

• Utilizes various recruitment tools and methods to source and attract a pool of qualified and diverse candidates

• Matches and evaluates candidate skills to client and patient needs through screening

• Completes necessary reference checks on candidates background and work experience

• Ensures candidates meet required hiring standards for Maxim and applicable contracts

• Documents candidate, caregiver, field staff, and client correspondence and activities within system database

• Builds and cultivates relationships with industry contacts to gain industry knowledge, referrals, and business development leads

• Attend job fairs and present employment opportunities to the general population

• Attend and present at local training schools and universities

Position Available:

• Full-Time

• Monday - Friday

• 9am - 5pm in East Haven, CT: 444 Foxon Road, East Haven, CT 06513

• Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour with performance based incentives
