UVA Imaging is growing and seeking an LPN for a Full-time Weekend 2 days at our outpatient imaging center located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Charlottesville, Virginia.

This position would work closely with the imaging technologist screening and prepping patients for their exams.

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Independent Practitioner, the LPN:
- Is responsible for providing nursing care as directed by physicians and registered nurses.
- Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Experience
- Minimum 1 year as a LPN in a clinical setting
- Must be a graduate of an approved LPN program.
- Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
- Ability to work independently and multitask under the direction of a RN or licensed independent practitioner.
- Ability to manage medical emergencies and/or contrast reactions under the direction of a licensed independent practitioner.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
