POSITION SUMMARY:
Inventories and stocks all par level stocking locations throughout the medical center. Major functions include inventory, receiving, distribution of supplies, and customer service. Adheres to all division and hospital policies and procedures, and maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with OSHA and other regulatory guidelines. Performs additional duties as directed.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
General office equipment, sterilizers, cleaning equipment, hand trucks, etc. General knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
N/A
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Three months to one year of work experience. Must possess effective organizational, communication, and human relations skills. Proven knowledge of patient related supplies, materials, equipment (forklift and pallet jack experience is preferred), aseptic, and sterilization techniques. Computer skills are preferred.
