We are seeking a WCHQ Clinical Information Specialist to:
- Collaborate with health system quality and IT staff to maintain data hygiene, interpret measure specifications, and develop efficient data submission pathways.
- Support publishing and maintaining healthcare quality measurement standards that align with industry standards.
- Deliver analyses to support strategic planning and organizational performance.
- Provide actionable information on performance to participant healthcare systems.
- Proactively identify and recommend areas for further analysis and improvement.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to health or analytics Required
- Master’s Degree in a field related to health or analytics Preferred
Work Experience
- 2 years work experience in a related professional capacity Required
- Basic understanding of various clinical classification systems (ICD-9, ICD-10, RXNORM, CP Coding, etc.) Required
- Experience with query tools (e.g. SQL, R, Python) Required
- Experience conducting analysis and data visualization with business intelligence tools like Tableau Required
- Experience with relational databases Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams Required
- 3 years work experience in data analytics, healthcare quality, or information technology with demonstrated progression in responsibility Preferred
- Detailed understanding of various clinical classification systems (ICD-9, ICD-10, RXNORM, CPT Coding, etc) Preferred
- Familiar with HL7 and FHIR data integrations Preferred
Certifications
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with the ability to travel to various locations Required
