Coating Line Team Member

1st Shift - 5am-5pm, 12hr/day Rotating

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Supervisor and working primarily with the Coating Line team.
• Responsible for insuring safe, quality, productive operations of the coating line team on assigned shift.
• Lead daily troubleshooting efforts.
• Flexible and quick to assist team members, adapts to changing demands and readily provides support to the team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, tackling complex problems and finding effective solutions.
• Certified at all positions of the line.
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
• Team Player.
• Good time manager.
• Critical thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Implement continual improvements in assigned operation process and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

• Must be safe and cautious. Safety always comes first.
• Must be able to follow written instructions and have legible handwriting.
• Must be able to keep an accurate record of materials used.
• Must be capable of lifting and handling large heavy loads. (Up to 50 lbs.)
• Must wear appropriate protective equipment.
• Must have strong Math Skills
• Must have strong Trouble Shooting Skills
• Must have strong mechanical skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must have strong leadership skills.
• Must be willing to be developed and to advance to the next position when called upon.
• Must be a qualified Fork Truck Operator.
• Must be a qualified Sander operator.
• Must be a qualified Inspector.
• Must be a qualified Coating Operator.

Physical Requirements and Travel:

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Push utility carts up to 60 pounds.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Stand up to ten (10) hours per day.
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standardBottom of Form
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Currently, no travel duties.

Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Frequently exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles and dust.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
