Starbucks at UW Northwest Hospital is currently hiring talented baristas to join our Team!
As a licensed store Starbucks barista, you'll create the Starbucks Experience for our customers through excellent service and expertly crafted products. You'll be in an energetic store environment where you'll have the ability to master your food & beverage craft, work alongside friends and meet new people every day. A cup of coffee and a smile can go a long way, and we believe our baristas have the power to be the best moment in each customer's day. Primary Job Responsibilities
Provide and model Starbucks Customer Service Commitment
Prepare and serve quality food and beverage products consistently for all customers
Deliver friendly, prompt service; engage with and educate customers about coffee-related topics
Keep café and production area stocked and clean, maintain pastry case and retail displays according to Starbucks schematics and routines
Follow operational policies and procedures for point-of-sale systems and safety and security
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Frequently positions self to lift items or boxes/bins of product from floor or low shelving or placing items on low shelving for preparing or cooking food
Perform all responsibilities to standards of Starbucks franchise, Washington State health code, and UW Dining
Perform related duties as assigned
Required Position Qualifications
Possession of, or eligible to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within two weeks of employment
