What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2026-2027 Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellow position at UW School of Medicine and Public Health?
Job Summary:
This appointment will be in the 2026-2027 Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship Program receiving advanced training in Cardiothoracic Imaging.
The clinical activities for which the position can function independently during training include: general radiology duties, such as general imaging, on-call non-cardiac CT and non-cardiac MR interpretation, on-call general radiology services, and work at the non-UWHC sites.
There is the possibility that this position could be extended for one additional year.
Responsibilities:
This position will always function as a trainee when performing cardiac MR interpretation. The position will often supervise and teach residents and medical students.
An additional component of this appointment outside of the fellowship could be providing independent clinical services for the Department of Radiology as necessary and as assigned by the Department Chair. Work may be carried out at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Unitypoint Health-Meriter Hospital and/or other radiology outpatient or outreach sites and extended coverage areas as necessary.
