Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining professional and attractive plantscapes for assigned interior and exterior accounts on a structured schedule. The technician ensures plant health and presentation using proper horticultural techniques while providing outstanding customer service.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 with a valid, clean driver’s license (for insurance purposes).
- Ability to read maps/GPS and pass necessary background/drug checks.
- Capable of lifting 30 lbs. and handling 10-50 lb. water equipment throughout the day.
- Comfortable working in varied environments (greenhouses, offices, client sites).
- Able to climb ladders and use tools (scissors, pruners, hand saws, hoses, etc.).
- Maintains excellent hygiene and professional communication skills.
- Plant care knowledge preferred but not required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Core Responsibilities:
- Water, fertilize, prune, and clean plants, ensuring optimal health and presentation.
- Identify and address disease, pests, or environmental stress with appropriate solutions.
- Maintain planters, top dressing, and staging for a polished, professional look.
- Prevent damage to floors, walls, and furniture from water or moisture.
- Track and manage blooming plant schedules and replacements within budget.
- Document work orders, service records, and route sheets accurately.
- Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors, resolving concerns proactively.
- Handle equipment and plants safely to prevent the spread of pests or disease.
- Load and maintain company vehicles with essential tools and supplies.
- Report any account issues, maintenance needs, or business opportunities.
- Follow company policies, dress code, and all local/state regulations.
Occasional Responsibilities:
- Assist with installations, rentals, and special maintenance tasks.
- Support warehouse, greenhouse, and shop operations as needed.
- Participate in training sessions, meetings, and seasonal/holiday work.
Salary : $22 - $26
