Bay Area Hospital a 127 bed Level III Trauma seeks an additional Advanced Practice Caregiver to join our collaborative growing Cardiology service line. Job Description :
- Board certified NP / PA at least 2 years of Inpatient Cardiology experience (not including RN or training experience)
- Accepting fulltime (80 hours per pay period) and parttime (60 hours per pay period) candidates.
- 8 : 00 am4 : 30 pm clinic hours
- 6 : 00 am4 : 30 pm Cath lab hours
- Opening due to growth and expansion of services
- High caliber collegial team
- Four 10hour shifts after orientation completion
- No call no weekends
- Rotate : 1 week in hospital 1 week in clinic
- Willingness to provide outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals
- Low stress engaging environment

- Outpatient Clinic1518 patients per day
- Cath lab68 patients per day
- 4 physicians on staff
- The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner is a licensed independent practitioner who is manages cardiology patients under the direction of the Cardiovascular Service Director.

Interpersonal skills necessary to work productively with patient families other healthcare staff and other departments

Able to stand walk bend squat reach and stretch frequently
Possess physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs
Needs adequate hearing and visual acuity including adequate color vision
Requires fine motor skills adequate eyehand coordination and ability to grasp and handle objects
Able to use proper body mechanics to assist patients in ambulating transferring in and out of bed chair or wheelchair
Must use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids
Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading writing and speaking in person or on telephone
May be required to lift up to 75 pounds
May require periodic use of personal computer
