Job Title: Transportation Analyst

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Analyst to support transportation and logistics operations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external business partners to drive efficiency and support overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support transportation operations and logistics processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including suppliers, to resolve issues and improve service levels.
• Analyze transportation and distribution data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel tools (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) to support data analysis and reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and assist in the implementation of process excellence tools.
• Support project management activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to reporting metrics and performance KPIs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in logistics, transportation, customer service, distribution, operations, manufacturing, planning, supply chain, and/or information technology.
• Ability to work independently while demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Six Sigma / Process Excellence training or certification preferred.
• APICS Certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of VLOOKUPs and pivot tables is preferred.
