V1 Aero is seeking an Aircraft Records Specialist for a full-time position in our Baltimore Hub. Our Aircraft Records Specialist is responsible for documenting, verifying, and auditing aircraft records, including maintenance schedules, component replacements, and inspections.

Job Description:

  • maintains and manages accurate records of aircraft maintenance, repairs, and modifications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain the airworthiness of aircraft.
  • Enter and manage data in maintenance management systems to ensure timely and accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare reports and summaries of maintenance activities for various purposes, including audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all records are compliant with FAA regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and materials, to ensure accurate record keeping and resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in aircraft records, working with various stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy: Essential for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of aircraft records.
  • Organizational skills: Required to manage and organize a large volume of records and documentation.
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and regulations: Familiarity with FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives, and other industry standards.
  • Proficiency with maintenance management systems: Ability to use and manage electronic maintenance records systems, such as TRAX or AMOS.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills: Required to collaborate with other departments and resolve discrepancies.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in aircraft records.

Experience with the TRAX system a huge plus.

A&P preferred but not required.

Position is M-F 8-5pm in our Baltimore Office (BWI).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
