Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Copy Editor with expertise in eLearning and LMS platforms to provide editorial services across multiple content types, including eLearning modules, live classes, knowledge base articles, and internal documentation. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Apple Style Guide, Chicago Manual of Style, and have strong writing, editing, and fact-checking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and proofread various types of content, ensuring clarity, grammar, punctuation, and style consistency.

• Ensure adherence to Apple's editorial guidelines and brand voice across all materials.

• Improve readability, refine structure, and enhance learner engagement.

• Copy edit and write technical, instructional, and online content, maintaining a professional and concise tone.

• Write succinct and creative copy for course descriptions, headlines, and marketing materials.

• Verify terminology, references, and technical accuracy of content.

• Provide tracked changes, comments, and summaries for major edits and content improvements.

• Develop and edit content for macOS, iOS, and iPad platforms, using various LMS/CMS and content creation tools.

• Collaborate with content developers across different formats to ensure consistency and cohesion in training materials.

• Provide editing reviews for training materials, project documents, and asset management.

• Meet deadlines for content reviews and updates while communicating effectively with stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements:

• 8 years of experience in copy editing, technical writing, or instructional content development.

• Strong understanding of eLearning, LMS, and training content development.

• Expertise in Apple Style Guide, Chicago Manual of Style, and other editorial guidelines.

• Experience editing content for macOS, iOS, and iPad platforms.

• Proficiency in LMS/CMS platforms, editing software, and content creation tools.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a broad audience.
