What You'll Do:

• The Manager is responsible for program compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and will coordinate and monitor sensitive aspects of the company’s industrial security programs. The manager will administer routine aspects of the DOD industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Duties include support of both collateral level security programs, and/or special access programs. Primary duties include completion of security packages, Questionnaire/Pre-Screen, SF-86 review, preparation of visit authorization letters (VALs), use of government systems of records, and coordination with customer security representatives to process security requirements, management of Insider Threat awareness and program requirements and special access program facility. Protect classified government information, monitor security procedures, ensuring compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical and administrative security systems and procedures. Conduct security briefings, self-inspections and conduct security education programs briefings. Investigate losses and security violations and recommend corrective actions. Responsible for ensuring program compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and for planning security operations.
• Supports the development of plans and Insider Threat program and objectives for the company, implementation, inspection, and enforcement of the NISP.
• Maintains the security compliance for the corporation, to include subordinate facilities.
• Interfaces and maintains cooperation with Defense Security Services and/or other Cognizant Security Agencies for requesting information, security inspections, violations and abnormal events relevant to the NISP.
• Interfaces and supports security professionals on Programs concerning threat information and Industrial Security.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and six years' experience.
• Facility Security Officer Training is required
• This position requires a current TS/SCI security clearance.
• Minimum of six years of experience as an FSO.
• Knowledge and understanding of National Industrial Security Program and DoD Directives.
• Must possess practical knowledge of SIMs or related security management data base software.
• Must possess practical knowledge of and experience with JPAS and e-QIP.
• Computer proficient on MS Office products.
• Must have technical writing skills and project management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in person and via telephone.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Proven knowledge and managerial experience.
• Requires independent judgment and discretion, as well as the identification, analysis and resolution of security related matters.
• Must be a team player and capable to work effectively in a collaborative manner.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized; able to multi-task and handle competing priorities and deadlines.
