Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Sales & Growth Lead to drive property manager acquisition and promote Vacation Finder as a premier distribution channel. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional ideally with experience in vacation rental sales, business development, or property management partnerships.
The Sales & Growth Lead will report directly to the CEO and attend industry conferences, conduct outreach to property managers, and develop strategic partnerships to expand our platform’s inventory. This is a remote, part-time position with flexible hours. It could turn into the opportunity for a full-time position based on performance and growth of brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Manager Acquisition: Identify and engage with professional property managers (10 units) to list their inventory on VacationFinder.com.
- Industry Conferences & Networking: Represent Vacation Finder at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to promote our platform and build relationships.
- Outbound Sales & Lead Generation: Proactively reach out to property management companies via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking opportunities.
- Partnership Development: Establish and maintain relationships with property managers, industry associations, and relevant stakeholders.
- Sales Funnel Management: Track outreach efforts, follow up with leads, and move property managers through the onboarding process.
- Market Research & Strategy: Stay informed on trends in short-term rentals and identify opportunities to improve Vacation Finder’s value proposition.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, operations, and leadership to optimize acquisition strategies and messaging.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in the vacation rental industry (e.g., property management, OTA sales, STR software, or channel management).
- Strong sales or business development background, preferably in B2B sales.
- Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and manage partnerships.
- Familiarity with property management software and channel managers are a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to present value propositions effectively.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences and networking events.
- Salesforce experience is a plus.
