Accounts Receivable Specialist (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM | Hybrid (In-office Tues-Thurs)
Compensation: $25-$30/hour
Overview:
A fast-growing technology company supporting the hospitality industry is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic finance team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a leading SaaS business and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting billing and collections functions.
About the Role:
As an AR Specialist, you will be responsible for managing billing cycles, collecting payments, posting cash, and handling billing-related customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Generate and send accurate customer invoices on a recurring basis
• 
  Post customer payments and apply cash to appropriate accounts
• 
  Monitor and follow up on at-risk and delinquent accounts
• 
  Investigate and resolve customer claims, disputes, and inquiries
• 
  Prepare and share account reports with internal stakeholders
• 
  Collaborate with internal teams to support accurate billing and collections
• 
  Assist with account audits and related analyses
• 
  Manage customer account portfolios and maintain accurate records
• 
  Review ERP and CRM data to ensure billing integrity and reconciliation
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, specifically in a recurring revenue or subscription-based business (SaaS experience preferred)
• 
  Strong understanding of billing and collections best practices
• 
  High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• 
  Experience with ERP and CRM systems (Sage Intacct and Salesforce preferred)
• 
  Strong organizational and analytical skills
• 
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 
  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
