Vaco is partnering with a premier client based in Phoenix, AZ, to find a fully remote Litigation Attorney. The successful candidate will be part of a legal team currently handling a class action lawsuit in its discovery phase. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in eDiscovery and complex litigation, along with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active Bar admission in the U.S. This is a contract role expected to last a minimum of one year, offering remote flexibility and competitive compensation of up to $90/hour. - Leverage eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Exterro) to:
- Test search terms and electronically stored information (ESI) parameters
- Tag and classify documents
- Review and assess documents for relevance, responsiveness, privilege, and confidentiality
- Coordinate the production of documents
- Prepare privilege logs, develop timelines, and draft document summaries
- Work closely and consistently with the in-house litigation team to ensure a streamlined and accurate document review process
- Uphold confidentiality and maintain ethical standards throughout all review stages
- Conduct legal research and draft concise memoranda on specific issues as requested
Our preferred qualifications:- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to a State Bar within the United States.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated litigation, discovery, and large-scale document review projects.
- Experience with privilege and confidentiality assessments.
- Proficiency in eDiscovery software, particularly Relativity. Experience with Exterro a plus.
Salary : $60 - $90
