About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, this role offers a chance to build and enhance backend systems in a dynamic, collaborative environment. You'll play a key role in developing RESTful APIs, working with SQL databases, and contributing to the overall architecture of our digital solutions. This position is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of experience who thrives in an independent work setting while collaborating with a cross-functional team.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain mobile applicationsusing React Native
- Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs
- Work with SQL databasesto ensure efficient data management
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to create seamless user experiences
- Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications
- Utilize Gitfor version control and project collaboration
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices
- 3 years of experiencein fullstack mobile development, focusing on React Native
- Strong understanding of RESTful API designand database management
- Experience working with SQL/relational databases
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Excellent problem-solvingand debuggingskills
- Bachelor's degree, associate degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Azure Cloud
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD
- Exposure to Reactand Node
- Experience in the restaurant, retail, or consumer-facing industries

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
