What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant (Contract) position at Vaco by Highspring?
Vaco Richmond is recruiting for a Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant who will be responsible for managing and resolving past-due accounts and overseeing the department's processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience using NetSuite is preferred.
- Proven track record of handling and leading cash application processes, aging reports, and credit card payment systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Previous senior-level leadership experience.
- Effective communicator and collaborator.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to address payment inquiries and resolve issues.
- Monitor and reconcile credit card transactions and other payment methods.
- Review and process cash applications, ensuring accuracy.
- Analyze aging reports to address outstanding receivables.
- Lead month-end closing processes related to the department.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
