Network Engineer

Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Onsite - De Pere, WI
Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 hr W2

We are looking for a Network Engineer with 3 years of experience to manage and enhance our client's network infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting, security management, and collaborating with teams to align technology with business needs. This is a full-time direct hire opportunity that is required to be onsite fulltime in De Pere, WI with some light travel locally and 5% of out of state travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee architecture, network performance, security, and infrastructure improvements.


• Monitor and resolve system alerts and issues.


• Manage enterprise-wide wireless networks and Next-Gen firewalls.


• Perform scheduled and emergency patching for vulnerabilities.


• Maintain network documentation and support disaster recovery efforts.


• Work with vendors to ensure secure access solutions.


• Support IT team members with troubleshooting and ticket resolution.


• Stay current on technology trends and recommend improvements.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field.


• 3 years of network administration experience.


• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and VMware vSphere.


• Experience with Juniper and FortiGate (preferred).


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
