What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level SMT Operator position at VadaTech Inc.?
VadaTech Inc. is currently hiring for the position of Entry Level SMT Operator. As an Entry Level SMT Operator, you will become responsible for operating and maintaining SMT machines, performing quality inspections, and ensuring efficient production of electronic components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate SMT machines, including pick and place machines, solder paste screen printers, and reflow ovens
- Load components and solder paste onto SMT machines
- Monitor the production process and make adjustments as needed
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure product compliance
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving production issues
- Minimum of 6 months of experience operating SMT machines or similar machines in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of component types and packaging (e.g. BGA, SOICS, RES/CAP packages) helpful
- Experience with IPC Workmanship Standards
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
