The Vail Recreation District is currently seeking a Marketing and Communications Director for a full-time, year-round benefited position.
This role performs/oversees a variety of responsibilities in marketing and communications, as well as supports department heads to meet participation goals.
The Marketing and Communications Director will develop and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies to promote VRD’s programs, events, and facilities. This position requires advanced knowledge of terminology, procedures and best practices used in the areas of marketing, communications, and public relations.
Responsibilities include managing VRD’s public relations efforts, online/social media presence and press coverage. The ideal candidate will be confident in performing self-directed work, possess strong leadership skills and excel in organization and detail-oriented tasks.
