What are the responsibilities and job description for the Conference Services Manager - Full Time / Year Round - Breckenridge, CO position at vailresorts.valhalla.stage?
The Conference Service Manager arranges, coordinates and communicates all aspects of group business after sales process has been completed. This position will work with clients in detailing the needs of meetings, events or trips including audio visual requirements, specific menu details and meal plan, recreation, dining, off site activities, billing, lodging and VIP arrangements. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining relationships with existing accounts, detailing rooming lists, billing set up and Banquet Event Order preparations.
- Overseeing client functions to ensure our group/ event guests have the highest quality experience possible while maintaining a profitable department.
- Preparing conference / event marketing materials and writes detailed group resumes.
- Responsibity for developing and maintaining a professional working relationship with internal department heads.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in Hospitality F&B
- Previous management experience
- Must have a strong working knowledge of Delphi, catering and sales software systems
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Good listening skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexible work schedule
- Ability to multi task and work under pressure
- Branded Hotel experience - Preferred
- Previous experience as a Conference Service Manager – Preferred
