At RockResorts/Vail Resorts Hospitality, we affectionately refer to our housekeeping staff and laundry attendants as the "heart of the house!” By adhering to the highest quality of industry standards, our housekeeping staff ensures guest satisfaction every step of the way. We are hiring for our summer season and are looking to further enrich our talent in housekeeping! The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning all linen on the property as needed. This will include towels from guest rooms, pool towels, robes and spa linens. This does not include guest room sheets or duvet covers that are sent out to a different company. In addition to washing the linen, the Laundry Attendant is also responsible for folding all linen items and keeping them neatly organized.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Keep laundry area tidy using cleaning products to keep the area clean.
- Wash and dry and fold all linen.
- Keep shelves well organized.
- Weigh every cart of dirty sheets that goes out for service and keep accurate records.
- Check every cart that comes back from the outside laundry company to assure we are getting the right items back.
- When folding laundry, separate all stained or damaged laundry from the clean laundry.
- Anything else that the management team needs help with.
Qualifications:
- Previous laundry experience. -preferred
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays. -required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. -required
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours. -required
