Lead: Terrain Park Attendant - Full Time - Winter / Seasonal - Heavenly
Job Summary:
The Terrain Park Lead will work as an Assistant Supervisor to the Park Supervisor & Manager with all needs of the dept. Helps contribute feedback of park design & layout. Directly supervises daytime operations and attendants. Responsible for Daily opening & closing procedures, Maintenance & safety of all terrain features, signs and boundaries. Helps with training of attendant’s job duties. Assist Ski Patrol & Ensures compliance with all risk management, health and safety protocols. Helps with fabrication of terrain features. Responsible for guest relations and education. Inspection & testing of all terrain features & daily log forms.
Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Helps with training of attendant’s job duties.
- Assist Ski Patrol & Ensures compliance with all risk management, health and safety protocols.
- Helps with fabrication of terrain features.
- Responsible for guest relations and education.
- Inspection & testing of all terrain features & daily log forms.
- Oversee and maintain safe operation of the Terrain Parks. Identify and take action to resolve any hazards, obstacles for guest and employee safety.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Ability to speak, read and communicate clearly in English.
- Minimum 1 yr previous experience in outside Ski resort work environment.
- 1-3-years Previous Terrain Park experience.
- Minimum 6 Months previous experience in a supervisory role.
- Professionalism and strong guest service skills, attention to detail and timeliness.
- Flexible schedule required during peak times throughout the year.
- Must be able to pass a Level7 Ski/Ride test.
- Must posess a valid US Drivers license.
- Self starter with the ability to work well with others.
- Strong communication and team work skills, Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form including communicating on the mountain radio.
- Must either snowboard or ski with advanced ability as determined by management. Riding requirements-Be able to ride 80% of features in the terrain parks.
- Physical requirements: Shovel, rake snow surfaces, lift up to 100LBS and be outside for up to 10hrs
- Patrol Terrain Parks, assist Ski Patrol with any injuries and guest education
- Helps with training of attendant’s job duties and daily supervision of attendants.
Preferred skills:
- Previous Terrain Park experience.
- Previous Welding experience.
- Previous Construction/Landscaping experience
- CPR/first Aid trained
