Lift Operations Supervisor - Full Time - Winter / Seasonal - Kirkwood, CA
Summary: The Lift Supervisor position is a supervisory position with the responsibility of daily lift operations, with direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with hiring, staffing, scheduling, and time and labor.
- Fulfills day-to-day work responsibilities for the organization as needed and is thoroughly familiar with all aspects of lift operations and code requirements.
- Oversees and implements safety and service programs.
- Assists with dispatching and accurate record keeping
- Responsible for conducting and coordinating opening and closing procedures, and all daily operating tasks of the crew.
- Successful completion of Lift Op Level I Training and Test.
- Responsible for CPTSB and ANSI compliance at all lift stations.
- Responsible for maze set-up, scanning efficiency, accuracy and lift station professionalism.
- Addresses all employee issues concerning training, coaching and scheduling.
- Encourages a safety culture throughout work areas and guest service areas.
- Supervise up to 50 crew members.
- Assists guests with safely loading and unloading lifts, shovel snow.
- Worksite can be up to 100% outside.
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of previous Lift Operations supervisory experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have a high work ethic and strong moral ethics.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work unsupervised and meet goals and tasks.
- Have advanced ski/snowboard ability.
- Ability and willingness to work outside, for a majority of the day, in extreme and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail while ensuring the safety of our guests and coworkers.
- Ability to maintain an extremely high level of guest service.
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand up to 6 hours a day.
- Able to read, write and speak English fluently.
