The Lift Attendant is responsible for creating a welcoming first and last impression. This individual is in a position of providing friendly and helpful guest service to those using our lift system at Breckenridge Ski Resort. Each Attendant is charged with contributing to a safe work and play environment for both internal and external guests. Our focus is on exceptional guest service, safety awareness and efficient uphill transportation. Contributing to an “Experience of a Lifetime” for our guests and ourselves is our goal. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Efficient and orderly loading and unloading of lifts
- Maintenance of easily negotiable snow conditions
- Completing pre-operational inspections and procedures
- Learning both routine operating and emergency procedures
- Completing lift closing procedures
- Following all safety rules
- Maintaining compliance with all department standards of appearance and behavior
- Teamwork within the department and resort.
Qualifications:

Prior guest/customer service experience - required
- Enthusiastic about greeting and assisting guests of the resort
- Willing and enthusiastic about working in an outdoor winter alpine environment - required

Able to meet physicial demands of this position, including but not limited to:
- Shoving snow
- Manipulating lift chairs to make it easier for guests to get onto the lift
- Helping guests onto lift chairs when needed
- Able to ski/snowboard - required (downloading is not an option for all lifts)

Well developed communication skills
- Must be fluent in English - required
Compensation: Starting at $9.00/hour
