Full-time (5 days/wk) and Part-time (2 days/wk) positions available.
The Discovery Guide is responsible for the care and entertainment of Ski Play Children (3-4yrs). Discovery Guides will lead indoor classroom activities and projects for 3-4 year old 'ski play' children, prepare crafts, and clean up from the day's activities/projects. Additional job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Ability to work in an indoor and outdoor environment
- Lead and prepare classroom activities and projects for 3-4 year old children
- Prepare and participate in activities and crafts
- Care for sick, soiled and sad children
- Gather and prepare children for lunch
- Prepare mats and read stories during rest time
- Assist Facility Lead as needed
- Assist children with toileting and hand washing
- Communicate day’s activities to parents
- End-of-day clean up and assistance with general cleanliness of children facility
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Excellent guest service skills
- Previous experience working with children
- Fluent in all aspects of the English language
- Background check
Preferred Skills:
- Education degree
- Pre-school teaching experience
- Bi-lingual in Spanish
Compensation: $9.45
