The Children Rental Technician is responsible for the fitting of boots, skis and snowboards in the Children's Center for kids ages 3-13 years. Maintain overnight storage of equipment in racks inside and outside. Responsible for set up of rental reservations prior to next day’s arrivals. Be able to explain rental charges and ski school products to the parents. Assist families in the placement and labeling of ski/snowboard equipment, as well as the completion of rental/liability forms and proper payment through the ticket sellers. Additional job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain all paperwork according to company policies and procedures
- Keep rental area clean, safe and organized
- Assist with set up, organzing and inventory of equipment pre/post season
- Provide enthusiastic, professional guest service
- Responsible for adjusting, tuning and maintenance of rental equipment
- Communicate with facility leads, magic carpet instructors, and ticket sellers on product levels/availability and assist in operations as needed
- Must have a caring and helpful attitude and enjoy working with children of all ages
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Must have excellent guest service and communication skills
- Must be fluent in all aspects of English language
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends
- Background check
Preferred:
- Knowledgeable of rental shop equipment and charges as well as ski school products
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in working with children
- Snowsports background
Compensation: $8.95
