Nestled just below Eagle's Nest and just above the Game Creek chair lift, Game Creek Restaurant is a truly unique location where guests can enjoy a gourmet dinner and an exceptional dining experience while overlooking the beautiful Game Creek Bowl. Game Creek Restaurant offers delectable, five-star, distinctive American cuisine complimented by an award-winning wine list and superior service. This breathtaking European chalet-style restaurant is accessible only by snowcat.
Servers are responsible for providing exceptional guest service in a fine dining, professional, and enjoyable dining environment. Game Creek Restaurant is open exclusively for Game Creek Club Members at lunch, 7 days a week, and is open for dinner to the public 5 nights a week (plus additional nights over holiday times).
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Will perform daily setup and cleaning duties, including, but not limited to stocking, polishing silver, glass and dishware; setting, bussing and clearing tables; trash and recycling removal; expediting food; serving food and drinks; waiting tables; bussing; and any other duties assigned
- Game Creek Servers can work effectively within a front/back waiter team table service, monitoring table fire times and accurate silverware placement for multiple-course dinners
- Servers must have explicit knowledge of the menus and be able to make recommendations as well as answer questions regarding dish preparations
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent - required.
- Must be available to work lunches and dinners - required.
- At least 2 years previous waiting experience - required.
- Must have fine dine experience as well as working knowledge of wine and beverage service - required.
- Must have or obtain valid TiPS certification upon employment (will provide training) - required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older - required.
- Must be fluent in English - required.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours - required.
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs - required.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays including: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, December 26th through January 2nd, Presidents’ Day Weekend, and any other holidays as requested - required.
