The Agricultural Territory Sales Manager for this poultry division will develop and execute the sales strategy required to achieve revenue and profitability targets in the assigned territory, accounts, and product lines. The territory includes This position is remote (#LI-REMOTE) and requires travel within the territory (TN, KY, IL, IN, OH, MI).
Base $70k commissions
How you'll bring value to our team:
- Execute poultry sales efforts in the assigned territory, which includes the
- Conduct one-on-one sales with potential customers through field visits and on-site demonstrations
- Ensure potential customer and customer contact information are maintained and updated
- Manage sales working with potential customers prior to sales and at all times during the sale as well as follow-up after the sale
- Participate in the development of operating goals, sales goals and objectives for assigned territory. Recommend, implement, and administer methods and procedures to enhance operations, as appropriate to the territory, accounts, and product lines

Requirements:
- Five plus years live poultry production experience- relevant positions include- Service Techs, Broiler or Breeder Managers or even Live Production Managers
- Bachelor's Degree or the Equivalent in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or Animal Science
- Self-starter and can demonstrate the ability to multi-task
- Experience selling through a dealer channel is highly desirable
- Proficiency in the use of computer software applications for sales management. Computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications is required
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to deliver presentations in both small group and large group environments. Ability to write reports, recommendations, proposals and other documents for executive business management
- Availability to travel extensively (75%-80% of the time) required within assigned territory and to Headquarters as necessary
- Possess and maintain driver's license
- Must live within the established territory- Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan
