Responsibilities
- Preparing regular status reports and maintain current and accurate record drawings
- Keeping lead Field Inspector and Resident Engineer informed of progress documentation and activities of the Contractor’s QC and Independent QA efforts
- Performing daily project inspections and documentation
- Performing Contractor QC and Independent QA documentation
- Completing Daily reporting including Owner Verification (OV) daily checklists
- Determining contractor crew size, equipment on site and activities performed
- Taking regular progress photographs
- Responsible for field construction efforts, construction sequencing, scheduling, and performance decisions
- Assuring quality and uniformity of the Contractor QC and Independent QA records and of various contracts in the overall program
