Job Summary : Make samples for distribution to sales reps and customers.
Essential Functions : Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards :
- Pull sample orders.
- Overlock masters and colorline flags, sew flags to leader cloth, put stickers on flags and masters.
- Layout master, flags and coordinates per instructions, book colorlines and assemble colorlines as required.
- Apply content labels and collection labels to line items.
- Maintain records of all completed work to include the person responsible for work, patterns, dates, and assign colorlines to shelf location.
- Keep inventory of shelves and tubes.
- Assemble memo cards.
- Assist cloth cutters, sample utility and sample shipping clerk as needed.
- Change the bobbins and thread on the sewing machine.
- Work scheduled overtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
